International trucks were built in the USA by International Harvester Co. from 1914-86. Since 1987 the company has been named Navistar International Corp. but it continues to use the International brand name.

International Harvester sold in 1985 its agricultural division of the Case Corporation, and the company name was changed to Navistar International Corporation.
