Applus+Idiada Volar E was developed in cooperation with Croatian company, Rimac.
Have four electric motors iTORQ (from Applus+ IDIADA) inside each wheel, that deliver a more than 800 kW (1,072 horsepower) and a peak torque of 1,500Nm.
The same concept than the Rimac, have got a 10-module Rimac battery combined with a regenerative braking system that will generate even more power, with a total of 640 volts and 38kWh which only need 15 - 20 minutes to fully charge.
Was created in a record time of about four (no three!) months on a tubular chrome-molybdenum chassis and features lightweight carbon-fiber bodywork
Is the more powerfull prototype in the world, and is electric (and Spanish ). Shame that only stays in prototype, for now.
