They have differences between two model rows. GFG (Gfc-Elisar) and Collo (Collo-Elisar) different models and designs developed, which have similar technical components.

Three years Mr. Feldevert and his employees worked on this car project to built the first GFG-Elisar. It should not be a cheep replica of a Mercedes – no it should be the best. At the day, as Gerhard Feldevert got his daughter Elisar, his first car could be driven out of his factory. The first prototype of the Gfc-Elisar was showed on the trade fair IAA Frankfurt in September 1085. From 1986 still 1991 twenty exemplars were built and sold from this company. Mr. Feldevert is the father of the brand Elisar. As the production company in the approvals were written “Gfc-Elisar”.

At the first view the Gfc-Elisar looks like as the replica of a prewar-sportingcar. It is similar as the Mercedes-Benz SSK 540. All mechanical parts are from the Mercedes-Cars.

The drawings of these cars are 100% from the development of the house of GFG. The speciality of the ELISAR is the high quality in the production. Money was not saved. For GFG it was important to produce all pieces for itself. The frame of the glasses, the rear lights out of aluminium. After the drawings it was built a 1:1 wooden model; from this it was built a negative form for the Kevlar carossery. The doors are from steel and the windows are electrician.

In july 1997 the brand Elisar was sold.

In july 1997 the brand Elisar was bought from the Collo company from Bornheim. Mr. Markus Irgel, managing director of Collo GmbH has the idea to build a new ELISAR model. This car was built in a lot handwork as the model ELISAR001. (appr. 10.000 working hours from 1999 till 2003). Till 2011 the car was an exhibition model, because it exists no approval. In further 1.100 hours working time the car would be built finish in the years 2011/2012. After that all the car producer was official named “COLLO-Elisar”.

The Elisar001 is the onliest Elisar-roadster-model with own character. (no replica as the GFG-Elisar) It was not important to rebuilt a historic car as the Mercedes SSK 540; the ELISAR001 should be a special car. The optic of the 30th years and the roadster feeling should be similar as in the Morgan- or Bufori- models. This target was reached and the car is a prototype. It was built only this one car.

The brand is not producing cars, but as in 2012 showed signs of activity, I will keep it in the blog if I have information again or if comes back to produce
