http://www.holland-car.com/ Holland Car P.L.C is a joint venture company established in 2005 by Engineer Tadesse Tessema, an Ethiopian national and a Dutch company Trento BV, Engineering.  Initial capital was 11,000,000.00 (Eleven Million) Br., which is equally shared between  the two partners. The company was the first of its kind in Ethiopia. The factory was built on 20,000.00 sq.mts of land near Mojo Town on the main road to Djibouti. It encompasses assembly, painting, spare parts warehouse, and customs bonded warehouse. It has adequate space for loading finished cars and unloading spare parts. There are three modern painting ovens and an assembly line with highly qualified employees. There is a separate section for filling air conditioner gas for newly assembled cars and maintenance as well as offices cafeteria, shower and locker rooms for the employees. At the initial stage the factory was able to assemble only one car per day. But now due to additional investment and facility improvements, they can assemble up to six cars per day. Their future goal is to be able to assemble ten cars per day.   They have got six models enable, with 1,000cc to 2,000cc engines: Naomi is their latest addition in the “mini-car” category.  Naomi uses computer controlled advanced multi-point fuel injection in order to achieve smooth, stable acceleration and outstanding fuel efficiency The Tekeze model was created by the Pininfarina Italian design house, combining European style with modern functionality.  It shares a platform with the Abay Executive model, ensuring maximum functionality and serviceability but with a sporty appearance The Awash Executive combines both luxury and style.  It includes a 1488cc Euro IV engine for increased power and ABD, EBD, and a reverse radar warning system for overall safety.   Additional standard features include leather covered steering wheel and electric defrosting rear window. Emay is tehir model designed to meet and surpass the European luxury sedans.   Shebelle is a wagon model suited to both city driving as well as longer trips. The Sheblle combines the style and comfort of the Awash, with additional luggage or seating capacity when necessary SHEBELLE is equipped with doors with anti-crash steel bar, Body anti-theft system, reversing radar warning system, Multi-function switchs ,Anti-dazzle interior rearview mirror, Leather-covered steering wheel, Electric heating defroster function of rear wind-screen and so on, in addition to ABS + EBD, Tele control intermittent wiper, Exterior rearview mirror with electric adjustment & electric calefaction & turn signal lamp, and other security configuration is also readily available Abay Executive is our most popular model, as it perfectly matches the requirements of the compact car segment in Ethiopia.  The Abay Executive has a 1299cc engine with multi-point fuel injection, providing low emissions and superior fuel economy.  A perfect balance for business commuting or family duties
