Hyundai Motor Company is South Korea's largest automaker. Its headquarters are in the prefecture of Yangjae-Dong in the city of Seocho-Gu Seoul. It is the fifth manufacturer world's largest automaker. The Hyundai logo is an "H" stylized symbolizing two people, the company and customers, while its motto is "Drive your way", which translates as "drive your destiny", but from 2012 it update to "New Thinking. New possibilities", which translated into Spanish would be "New Thinking. New Possibilities."

Hyundai produced 2,462,677 vehicles in 2006 and ranked 10th in the world ranking of OICA. In 2007 Hyundai returned to have excellent grades in initial quality survey by JD Power, one of the most respected industry indicators and measures the performance of the cars and customer satisfaction during the first three months of use. Hyundai rubbed elbows at the top with brands like Porsche and Lexus. The Korean brand manufactures from subcompacts to luxury sedans, minivans and trucks through different sized SUV. In addition to its facilities in Korea has factories in the United States, India, China, Czech Republic, Brazil where only the utilitarian HR which was later extended by the Tucson SUV occurs.
