The technical team of Welter Racing is composed of men and women all auto racing enthusiasts who use their professional skills to create powerful prototypes.


The WR team consists of volunteers working in tandem employees of the stable. All who come to work in the evening after office hours and on weekends in the studio over three floors.

All the skills are there. Each specialty required is represented in the organization where everyone has a lot of experience and knows the automotive world.

The team was created by Gerard Welter, director of Peugeot style and passionate motorsport to develop race cars performance.
With the desire to see the return trays to the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the construction of a first prototype, Gérard Welter served its purpose.
A new category of car is born.


Welter Racing is first and foremost a human adventure, a great family, united by a passion for sport who devotes most of his free time to design and develop in the Paris region, race cars.

It is also a technological challenge because, from design to manufacture, everything is done on site in a real small production plant.

An adventure possible through the commitment of our many partners and sponsors who also share their know-how and passion with the team.
WR also welcomes and trains many engineering schools that throughout their training have the opportunity to become familiar with the technology students.
During this period, they use many tools, alongside secrets and take part in the realization of a prototype racing.
