In 1936 Atalanta’s innovative approach to sports car design produced arguably the most technically advanced British sports car of the era.
A thoroughbred amongst its more conservative sports car contemporaries, Atalanta’s advanced design, exceptional performance, handling and riding comfort quickly established a reputation for exciting sporting cars of quality and style.
Available in a variety of body styles yet always bespoke to each customer’s needs, only 21 original cars were produced before the unfortunate outbreak of war in 1939.
Few of the original 1930’s cars survive today and with each being unique they rarely appear on the market and naturally command a significant premium when they do.
75 years on Atalanta Motors once again offers the discerning motor enthusiast the opportunity to commission and experience an individual sports car built to order with a fusion of today’s technology packaged in a classic and timeless traditional coach built sports car body
The 2012 Atalanta ‘Revival’ car embraces the elegance and style of the 1930’s original and where appropriate employs the use of modern materials and technology to ensure reliability, performance and safety.
By remaining true to the original Atalanta design principles, their wish is to provide you with a unique motoring experience; enjoying the pride, thrill and style of pre-war motoring within the confidence derived from 75 years of automotive evolution.
As in the 1930’s, their aim at Atalanta Motors is to provide you with the opportunity to commission an individual Atalanta to your exacting requirements’. Atalanta is about service, individuality and bespoke detailing. They build traditionaly styled cars from new to a high standard that will patinate gracefully and can be cherished for a lifetime.
Atalanta’s original design philosophy of producing a performance sports car with lightweight construction and reduced unsprung weight, coupled with a light but powerful four cylinder engine is still embraced today.
