The Bailey Cars company was started in 2003 to fill the need for quality and reliable replica or recreations of the famous Le Mans winning cars such as the Porsche 917, Ferrari P4 and the Ford Gt40. Since these original cars are fetching huge prices. The niche market for recreations has grown too. The factors which distinguish the Bailey Cars range are their quality, attention to detail. At the same time we endeavor to offer top class service and customer support. Bailey Cars recreations have been highly successful in historic racing series' through out the world and all of these factors make us one of the best recreators worldwide!

The Bailey LMP 2 was at Le Mans on display in 2012 to promote the car and the Bailey Cars company. We managed to have a few pics with our LMP car under the famous Dunlop Bridge on the circuit. This is the first time that a South African car has made it onto the famous Le Mans circuit. we hope that next time this happens our car will be racing in the 24 hour race!
The Bailey 40 has evolved over 9 years of continuous development into what is
now arguably the best racing recreation of the original Ford GT 40 ever built.
All of the authentic details that made the original car such an icon, have been recreated
to ensure a package that is true to its heritage, yet sufficiently updated. With over
40 years of engineering improvements since the original Ford Gt40's
thundered over the finish line, beating Ferrari at their own game 4 years in a row,
at the famous Le Mans 24 hour race from 1966 to 1969
Bailey Cars added the famous 917 to its range in 2007. The car was completely modelled from original plans. This insured that the car kept the mystique of the original. Bailey did do some necessary changes to the car to insure that running costs and safety were optimised.
Since then customers have taken delivery of the Bailey 917 and many a competitor has been blown away by the awesome performance of this Iconic race car. As was once said about this car resistance was futile!
The T70 project was borne as a one off for a special customer of Bailey Cars.
After the car was completed many other customers wanted one as well and so we
had to start producing them in limited number. The Bailey T70 is based on the
Bailey version 2 GT but retains all of the original details to ensure
a package that is true to its heritage yet sufficiently updated with over 40 years
of engineering improvements since the originals were built.
