Facel Vega was a French brand of luxury cars. It emerged in the early fifties when Forges et Ateliers metallurgical company of Construction d'Eure-et-Loir (Facel SA) decided to build cars. Facel SA had its first factory in Dreux, near Paris, and later opened another in Amboise before the war. He had already made bodies for other French manufacturers as Simca, Panhard and Ford France. His first model appeared in 1954. It stopped making cars in 1964.
Currently the brand name remains pending investment to revive the brand
