The company Anhui automobile industry Anchi Company, Ltd. Founded in 1970 and made agricultural attachments.
In 1988 Anchi began making cars and small vans. The company was taken around 2002 by Harbin Hafei, then stopped for a while the production in 2004.
In 2007 the company was taken over by motorcycle manufacturer Zhejiang Zhongneng. ( BengFeng ) Nowadays it is a somewhat interesting mix of small town cars and SUVs fairly hefty.
